Hello, Good Neighbors! We welcome you to the Matt Pelz State Farm agency! My team and I are here to assist all those residing in Kootenai County, as well the surrounding areas. Our office isn't just limited to helping residents of Idaho, but we are also licensed to aid those in the states of Washington and Montana. For me, the commitment to serve others extends beyond being just a company goal -- it is an important goal for myself, the customers, and the broader community that my office serves. We provide a range of insurance services at our office, including Auto, Homeowners, Life, Renters, and Business insurance. Stop by our office and stay warm as we head into the winter months! Our recently updated lobby includes features such as a new fireplace, comfortable lounge chairs, complimentary hot coffee and cold bottles of water.

Growing up in the Coeur d'Alene area, I've discovered that there truly is no place like home. I spent my college years in Boise and Moscow, Idaho, where I graduated from Boise State University in 2003 with my bachelor's degree. Living in Idaho my entire life has truly been a privilege and I consider myself lucky to be able to partake in all this great state has to offer!

Assisting others in their time of need has always been a significant aspect of who I am. Prior to becoming an agent with State Farm I served my community in the capacity as Deputy Sheriff for Kootenai County. In my free time, I enjoy hiking and hanging out with my son. Recently I got into boxing and working on customizations to my vehicle. I also volunteered with the local hockey association and with the Hayden Chamber of Commerce.

We love being able to help our community, but recognize that in order to do so, we need to prioritize our team's well-being! Keep in mind our office phones are active 15 minutes after opening and are turned off 15 minutes before closing, allowing our team members to smoothly start and conclude their workday while staying on top of their responsibilities.
